International Workplace Group Signs Franchise in SE Asia International Workplace Group has signed its first franchise partnership in Southeast Asia, Business World reported this week.
The flexible workspace giant signed a franchise deal with Cebu-based company, AppleOne Properties Inc. to open IWG locations in the Philippines.
According to reports, under the deal API will open eight workspace locations in 6 cities: Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, Dumaguete City, Iloilo City, and Bacolod City.
The new coworking space spreads across 30K square feet and has the capacity to welcome over 100 workers.
The lines between coworking and hospitality have increasingly blurred over the past couple of years, and several hotel brands have transformed their lobbies into coworking areas for guests.
