Equinox and Industrious Launch Coworking Space at Hudson Yards Will Speros December 27, 2019 New York’s luxury commercial district Hudson Yards has welcomed its newest collaboration with Equinox: a coworking concept.
The lifestyle brand has partnered with workspace leader Industrious to craft the flexible environment which is located within the 72-story 31 Hudson Yards tower.
The aesthetic was crafted by the Industrious in-house design team, led by Matt Bosserman, which features a wide range of timeless materials.
Accommodating 71 private offices across two floors and 44,000 square feet, the interiors at Industrious at Equinox are lined with textured and patterned wallcoverings, stone surfaces, white oak floors, exposed concrete pillars, and custom acoustic panels.
Handsome metalwork in the staircase and custom chandelier infuse industrial masculinity into the space, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of Thomas Heatherwick’s Vessel below.
A large communal table anchors the great room, which is populated with blue velvet chairs along with modular banquettes, fluted millwork, and charcoal wallpaper.
